The Tournament Schedule

Friday 17th August

Channel crossings with Eurotunnel or P&O Ferries.
Arrive at the Dolce Chantilly**** hotel and check-in.

Afternoon: Practice round on the hotel course.

Evening: Taittinger reception in the Clubhouse, tournament registration* and welcome dinner (wines included).
*Don't forget to bring your Handicap certificate and to pick-up your Glenmuir golf shirt!

Dolce Chantilly hotel

Saturday 18th August

Morning: First competition round at Club du Lys.
A tranquil Club with two courses and a well-to-do membership, hidden amongst the impressive houses of the exclusive residential area 'Les Lys' just south of Chantilly.  We shall be playing the main course 'Les Chênes' a Tom Simpson design that displays all his characteristic subtleties between the mighty oaks. After which, the Clubhouse patio makes a delightful spot for lunch.

Afternoon and evening: at leisure to investigate some of what Chantilly (or nearby Senlis) has to offer.

Sunday 19th August

Morning: Second competition round at Apremont.
A carefully thought-out John Jacobs' course through avenues of specimen trees just five minutes up the road from the hotel in the sleepy equine hamlet of Apremont.  Apremont was always one of John Jacobs' favourite designs as he had a wonderful tract of land to work with and his only worry was not to ruin it - don't worry, he didn't!

Afternoon: free.

Evening: Taittinger Champagne reception, followed by dinner in the Château de Chantilly itself and of course prize-giving.

Monday 20th August

Departure and return Eurotunnel crossings.

Or maybe stay a few extra days and enjoy the sights of Chantilly, nearby Senlis or perhaps even a night out in Paris?

Alternatively, if you feel you need some more golf then consider the nearby courses of: Chantilly Vineuil, Club du Lys, Isle Adam, Mont Griffon, Domont-Montmorency...
