The Carlton sits squarely in the very centre of Lyon: equidistant form the Rhone and the Saone - no better place to be, close to all the sights, cafés, bars, restaurants and the traditional Lyonnais 'Bouchons' (cosy brasseries).
The Carlton Hotel has a variety of room sizes, ranging from 'Cocoon' to Suites. We think that the 'Cosy' bedrooms are just about large enough for couples but a little small for Twin rooms. Needless to say, being an 'MGallery' hotel they are all fitted-out to a very high standard.
The Carlton does not have a restaurant (hardly a problem in the gastronomic capital of France!) but it does offera good breakfast buffet every morning. When the evening rolls around, there is a small bar beside Reception - an ideal spot to gather before heading out on the town.
Traffic in Lyon is not too bad, so driving out to the golf courses each day is quite straightforward. Conveniently, there is a secure underground car park just 50 metres form the hotel, so no problem parking at all.
