The Westin, sitting right beside the Dunes course, is the original resort hotel at Costa Navarino and has been designed in an al fresco style to suit the climatic conditions, i.e. hot sun! The bedrooms, suites and villas sprawl around the huge pool complexes (three outdoors plus the spa indoors) and on down to the beach: a lot of ground to cover but helpfully a fleet of golf buggies is on hand to transport you and your luggage around the resort.
Everything about the Westin is rather plush: Standard bedrooms are very comfortable, Suites even more so - especially the sea-view variety and those with private pools. For longer stays (or family outings?) there are two and three-bedroomed villas available as well. Just let us know what level of space and comfort you prefer and we shall plan your stay accordingly.
Breakfast at The Westin is a busy affair with all the residents browsing the panoply of choice across the inumerable counters in the cavernous breakfast hall before settling outside at one of the many tables interspersed with shallow waterways.
For dinner there are numerous options around the 'Agora' (marketplace) in the form of individual restaurants of various nationalities: please reserve your tables in advance though, as with a captive audience they do fill-up every night.
Should you wish to dine-out, a taxi will be required to one of the nearby villages where you will find traditional Greek tavernas along the seashore. We know quite a few spots and as always, we shall recommend a few of our local favourites when we send you your travel documentation.
For added relaxation there is sizeable spa at the Westin too, offering a full range of treatments and massages in addition to the spa-pools with their water jets aimed at reinvigorating most parts of the human anatomy. Use of these pools is free if you are undergoing a treatment, if not you will have to purchase a day-ticket.
