Without a doubt, Rosapenna is the best value golf resort in Ireland for lovers of links golf.  The two courses at Rosapenna are pure links from start to finish - and there are others around as well.  A modern hotel that was well-designed and well-built to offer very comfortable rooms (on a US scale).  The location overlooking the beach and close to town could not be better.  The bar is welcoming and the food and service in the restaurant exemplary.  What more could a roving golfer want?

Bedrooms are large enough to make for comfortable Twin accommodation (nearly all have a Double and a Single bed); bathrooms are all regularly refurbished, so you'll find them bright and spotlessly clean.  The rooms with the balconies overlooking the bay are worth a little extra.

After your golf (and maybe a little time in the Clubhouse) the excellent hotel restaurant awaits with its panoramic windows offering views over the course and the beach.  Should you wish to go out for dinner, there are two-or-three good little places in the village to try.

For further relaxation the Rosapenna Hotel also has a good-sized indoor pool (the North Atlantic can be chilly even in the height of Summer!) and a few spa facilities too, should you need a massage.
And after dinner, cue a little snooker, maybe?
