GOLF HOLIDAYS - ESSAOUIRA & MOGADOR
The Mogador golf course on the Moroccan coast, west of Marrakech.

The Mogador resort lies just south of the town of Essaouira, about a five-minute drive.  The land here is dense virgin forest with the only building being the resort's Sofitel; once you distance yourself from the Clubhouse you will be immersed in green.  The Mogador golf course has been sensibly designed to offer holiday golfers a good challenge without being exhausting.  In addition, there is a good selection of Tees so you can choose a yardage that suits your prowess.  The Fairways are generally generous in width but with plenty of yawning bunkers to avoid (Mr. Player is renowned for his bunker play).  Greens are big and quick with plenty of borrow so the fun doesn't stop until the ball is in the hole!  A thoroughly enjoyable golf course that most will be happy to play more than once. Mogador also has twelve (sic) new holes and good practice facilities; making it a useful spot for some Winter work on your game.
