Dinard (and the Grand Hotel) was looking wonderful in late June with the sun beating down every day, making the contestants grateful for the cooling sea-breezes on the coast.  The competition was tight with Kevin & Julia Armstrong from New Zealand racing away to an early lead only to be hauled back by Kevin and Judy Brown from Sheffield over the next two days who eventually snuck the trophy on a countback: all very exciting! 
And in a controversial twist, nobody called Kevin came in third!

First Place: Kevin & Judy Brown (Sheffield)
Second Place: Kevin & Julia Armstrong (New Zealand)
 Third Place: Tony & Christine Sandford (Surrey)
