Coed-y-Mwstwr Hotel**** - Bridgend

A quiet country retreat in the green valleys of Glamorganshire that makes an idyllic base for a Welsh golf holiday.  The coed-y-Mwstwr Hotel sits right alongside the course of the same name (although they are independent), so you won't have to stray too far from your room for a game of golf! 

The hotel bedrooms are all different in shape and size being built into an old country house, which adds to the charm of the place.  All are furnished to the same high standards however, so you are assured of a quiet and comfortable stay.

On the ground floor is the Coed-y-Mwstr's bar and restaurant: both are equally welcoming with drinks and even dinner on the outdoor patio in Summer.

The restaurant has a varied and high-quality menu so you won't mind dining in most evenings.  The Golf Club serves food too which is convenient if you don't want to take the trip into Bridgend to find its alternative dining options.

Porthcawl Hotels

Porthcawl is a small, seaside town that has a very seasonal existence: busy in the school holidays and over Bank Holiday weekends - very quiet the rest of the year.

Side-by-side on the seafront, not far from the High Street, are two hotels the Atlantic and the Fairways; both of which have more of the feel of a large Guest House than an out-and-out hotel.  They have a small number of rooms, a small number of staff and lots and lots of regular guests who visit Porthcawl year after year.

Both hotels are close to the Royal Porthcawl Golf Club, so if you are particularly keen on this wonderful Welsh links they make a very convenient base for your golf holiday in South Wales.

Cardiff & Swansea Hotels
