MAZAGAN & EL JADIDA GOLF HOTELS
The best places to stay on your Mazagan or El Jadida golf holiday.
Mazagan Golf Resort*****
Mazagan (the ancient Berbere name for the region) is a enormous development on the coast a mile north of the Pullman hotel and Royal Jadida golf courses, making this a tremendous little golfing getaway by the Ocean.
The hotel (more of a small village really) has just about everything you need for your golf holiday (we bet many residents never even venture as far as the town of El Jadida!). The hotel has some five hundred bedrooms and suites, built around a giant central pool and garden. The hotel bedrooms themselves are all of modern design with hints of Moroccan-ness here and there.
The entrance hallway opens into a vast glittering atrium style lobby, all shiny marble and soft leather furnishings. Here you will find the bar, tea-shop and the hotel's casino.
Around the quadrangle of the hotel you will find numerous restaurants (we counted eight), including a large buffet, Moroccan, French, fish and Italian. Most of the restaurants have à-la-carte options in addition to their impressive buffets.
The Mazagan hotel also has a dedicated spa building, constructed between the hotel and the Mazagan Golf Clubhouse. Here you can pamper to your heart's content!
All inclusive stays with unlimited golf now possible - please ask.
Pullman El Jadida*****
The original golf resort at El Jadida. An hotel that was built in tandem with Royal El Jadida Golf Club, which has its Clubhouse just over the road (through the garden gate). The Pullman El Jadida still exudes a charming sense of old Moroccan regality, although it has been refurbished several times over the intervening years!
Positioned on the shoreline, the hotel forms a number of whitewashed buildings around a large pool. The bedrooms are spread throughout these buildings, but as it is a small hotel you are never more than a length of the pool from reception.
There are three restaurants at the hotel (plus the Clubhouse for lunches): a buffet with varying themes each evening, a traditional Moroccan and a fine-dining option too. So plenty of choice and there are a couple of good restaurants in town too (just ten minutes away). Drinks are always available beside the pool or in the cosy bar.
The hotel has a recently added spa building (curiously constructed beside the 18th Green) where there is an indoor pool, sauna, hammam and a selection of massages and other treatments available. In the comfort of the Pullman El Jadida hotel you will feel part of the El Jadida scene and sense the history of the growth of golf in Morocco.
