European flights have changed dramatically this Century; our preferred airline British Airways, has given over many of its routes to the so called “no frills” airlines, like Easyjet and Ryanair. So depending on your destination British Airways may no longer be an option.
In order to assist you
in finding the best flights for your holiday we keep tabs on the ever-changing
schedules and can advise you on the best flights for your holiday.
Once your flights are booked, we shall make all the
arrangements for hire-cars or onward coach travel. If you have any queries
at all on flights to Europe and beyond please just call for all the information you
require. |
For getting to northern France and Belgium most golfers prefer to use the rapid, reliable train under the Channel. Eurotunnel runs from Folkestone to Calais, three times an hour during the day and every hour or so through the night.
For this reason we will automatically include standard Eurotunnel crossings for you if you are taking your own car over to the Pas de Calais, Lille, Chantilly, Waterloo or Brugge.
Customs and immigration procedures are all completed before you board, so once you reach the other side you are off and running on the French motorway network. To make it even easier, why not upgrade to FlexiPlus? Please call us for full details of Eurotunnel's premium service. |
Heading for Normandy or Brittany? Then by far the easiest way to get there is to cruise across overnight with Brittany Ferries to St. Malo, Caen or Roscoff, fast asleep in a comfortable cabin. There are day day sailings too or why not zip across on one of the fastcraft crossings?
Brittany Ferries ships are modern and comfortable with excellent dining facilities: the buffet on the overnight to St. Malo or Caen is de rigeur!
The Loire valley, Bordeaux and even Biarritz are also within reach.
We will recommend the best routes and crossing times for you and book these and any cabins you may require.

We
use a number of reliable suppliers (mainly HERTZ and EUROPCAR) to ensure that you receive the best
possible vehicles and service when renting a car for your holiday. Our hire-cars include unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver (CDW) insurance and third party insurance (TP), although there are excesses on these policies, more below.
We shall arrange for one of their cars, to be ready and waiting for you when you touch-down. Vehicles are available at all possible arrival points and range in size
from a Renault Clio for one or two, up to a mini-bus for nine.
You may pick
your car up at one airport and leave it at another, or we can even arrange for it to be delivered
to your hotel. |
If you would prefer to sail over from Dover to Calais or to Boulogne then ferry services are available with P&O amongst others. Please let us know if you would prefer a boat to a train.
There are also sailings from Hull to Zeebrugge for Brugge and Waterloo; ideal if you live in the North of England or Scotland. |
Condor ferries operate fast catamarans out of the Channel Islands that travel in both directions to Poole and St. Malo. Quick crossings but they do all stop off in the Channel Islands en-route. A useful alternative, depending on where you live, and where you are heading! |
Inclusive car hire insurances carry large excess amounts that you will be liable for in the case of an accident or theft of the vehicle (in the region of €1,000.00 for accidents and €2,000.00 for theft).
If you would like to reduce these excesses to zero you can purchase "super insurance" when you collect your car which will cost around €20.00 per day; alternatively you can purchase an annual policy from Insurance 4 Car Hire for around £50.00 which will cover all your trips for a full year - we think it's much better value! |
There are three destinations that are ideal if you would like to depart from central London for a few days (business) golf. From St. Pancras it is a delight to board the Eurostar to either Paris, Brussels or Lille and play a few days golf.
The journey is smooth and easy; First Class and Premium First is available too if you really want to impress your clients/friends.
