TAITTINGER PARIS-PAIRS 2021
20th- 23rd August

Join us for three days of Taittinger Champagne, great golf, fun and friendly competition in one of Paris most exclusive suburbs - St. Germain-en-Laye (close to Versailles).  We shall be staying at La Cazaudehore, one of Paris' most elegant 'country retreat' hotels in the quiet of the Forêt de St. Germain.  St. Germain-en-Laye, with it's small château is perfect for a long weekend break and is encircled by classic French golf courses: we'll be playing two of the best.

First Prize: Magnum of Taittinger + £400 Holiday voucher
Second Prize: Magnum of Taittinger + £200 Holiday voucher
Third Prize: Magnum of Taittinger + £100 Holiday voucher

The competition is open to all Golf Cub members with an official Handicap, playing in mixed pairs,
and will be played over two outstanding courses: St. Germain and Béthemont.
Winners decided by the highest combined Betterball Stableford score.

This unique and prestigious event is limited to twenty-four mixed pairs.

The Tournament Schedule

Friday 20th August

Channel crossings with Eurotunnel or P&O Ferries.
Arrive at La Cazaudehore**** and check-in.

Afternoon: Free or we can arrange a practice round for you at any of the exceptional courses nearby (even St. Nom la Breteche!).  See the full selection on our Versailles golf page.  There is also the Château de St. Germain to visit or a stroll around the town centre perhaps?

Evening: Taittinger reception, tournament registration* and welcome dinner (wines included) at La Cazaudehore.
*Don't forget to bring your Handicap certificate and to pick-up your Donald Ross golf shirt!

Saturday 21st August

Morning: First competition round at Béthemont Golf Club.
Notable for being Bernhard Langer's only course design in France, its impressive white manorial Clubhouse and the enthralling course that weaves through the woodland around it.  Befitting of its designer's preferences, strategy and accuracy rather than the power game are all-important at Béthemont...

Afternoon and evening: at leisure to investigate St. Germain or maybe an afternoon/evening in Paris?

Sunday 22nd August

Morning: Second competition round at St. Germain Golf Club.
One of the oldest, ultra-traditional and most exclusive Golf Clubs around Paris, playground of the rich and famous, French Presidents and the upper echelons of society: quel honneur to set foot on the First Tee at St. Germain.
The course runs through ancient woodland and has all the hallmarks of a true Harry Colt design - thoughtful and thought-provoking bunkers and Greens abound.
N.B. There are no buggies at St. Germain, sorry!  However the land is very flat, so can easily be walked and trolleys (both manual and electric) are permitted - as are caddies (given enough notice).

Afternoon: free.

Evening: Taittinger Champagne reception, followed by dinner at the hotel and, of course, the prize-giving.
